Hotfoot Baseball transforms the sport into short, fast-paced, and accessible matchups. There is no need to memorize a host of complex rules; the main objective is simply to watch the pitch, time your swing correctly, and advance your runner across the bases before the opposing team can stop you.

How to play Hotfoot Baseball

The goal is to outscore your opponent by combining accurate hits with well-timed base running.

Controls

Left-click: Swing the bat.
Click on the player: Once at a base, command the runner to advance to the next one.

Batting and base running

Hotfoot Baseball’s mechanics center on precise timing. When the ball is pitched, use the left mouse button to swing. A solid hit creates an opportunity to advance, but making contact is only the first step.

Once a player reaches a base, you must click on the character again to continue running to the next base. Consequently, every turn requires a bit of observation; running too early or moving when the situation is unfavorable can result in getting tagged out.

Fast-paced matches and scoring

The game's appeal lies in the rhythm of the plays. Even seemingly unsuccessful hits can sometimes allow enough time for a runner to reach a base safely. When an opening arises, you need to capitalize on your hit to advance the runner further and rack up points.
