City Hero is an 3D action packed game. You play as a superhero with a special ability for movement. It's a large city with many places to explore and many different quests. You can run across the streets, climb up buildings or use a grappling hook to swing through buildings.
Your main task is to fight the criminals and face the dangers that threaten the city. Each mission is a different scenario. The player must move quickly, select the appropriate attack strategies and complete assigned objectives successfully.
The grappling hook is one of City Hero's standout features. You can use it to pull your character to high vantage points or swing from one structure to another, allowing for highly dynamic city exploration.
The map has many places to explore. Players can walk or drive around to get there faster. Once you locate a mission, simply head to the designated area to begin the challenge.
There is fighting in many parts of the city. Employ melee attacks to confront opponents up close. Running, jumping or swinging are also important for combat, allowing your character to quickly reposition.
Completing missions earns you rewards to boost your power. You are given new equipment and abilities to help you face increasingly difficult challenges. You can also use health kits and armour when your character is in danger.
