Hockey Bros is a fast-paced ice hockey game where each match is filled with hard shots, quick passes and big hits. Steal the puck, take control of your players and shoot it past the goalie before the clock runs out. The simple controls make it easy to jump into a match.
Each period lasts two minutes. Games start with a face-off at center ice. Both teams race for the puck. Drive into the attacking zone, find a gap, shoot and then the defense collapses. Or you can hand it off to a teammate who’s in a better spot. Scoring is important but so is defense. Body check to knock opponents off the puck and break up their attacks. Keep an eye on your own goal, too. Chasing the puck with every player can leave your net wide open.

Each team has its own stats for center speed and power, wing speed and power, defense speed and power, and goalie power. Pick a team that suits your playstyle. Fast players help you chase loose pucks. When you’re stronger, physical fights can give you an advantage. A good goalie makes it more difficult to shoot the ball.
You can also personalize your players with jerseys, hockey sticks, gloves, skates, helmets, and other headgear. Unlock unique characters as you progress including Mac Truck, Noodlearms and The Professor. Options like these add extra personality to Hockey Bros beyond what goes on the ice.
Don't rely on raw power alone. Aim your shots by pressing a movement key toward the far corner just before releasing Spacebar. A well-placed shot can beat a goalie who is ready for a straight attempt. Watch for rebounds after a saved shot. The puck may bounce into open space while the goalie recovers. Move in quickly to grab the loose puck and take another shot.
Avoid spamming checks. Missing a tackle can leave your player briefly exposed and give the opponent a clear path to goal. Time your checks when the puck carrier gets close. Keep at least one defender between the puck and your net instead of sending everyone to chase the action.
Passing is another key to victory. If an opponent approaches, press the space bar to pass the puck to an open teammate. Good passes create space and make you harder to read in attack.
