Basket and Ball is a fun game where you shoot a ball into a hoop, and the difficulty increases with each level. Unlike most sports games where you are a basketball player, here you are a funny-faced ball that has to dodge traps to reach the hoop at the end of the stage. It's a mix of physics puzzles and arcade controls that makes each level an adventure rather than a simple test of shooting baskets.

How to Play Basket and Ball

Characters

• Ball: The player character. The ball can roll, bounce, and interact with objects in the environment to reach previously unreachable areas.
• Basket: The objective of each level. The goal is to get the ball in the basket, unless you collect the stars around the level.

Controls

• Left Arrow (←): Move the ball to the left.
• Right Arrow (→): Move the ball to the right.
• Spacebar (Press repeatedly): Build up jumping power by repeatedly pressing the key to fill the blue power bar. The more power you accumulate, the higher the ball will jump.

Gameplay

You move the ball left or right and use the jump command to make it bounce. This mechanic differs slightly from standard platformers: rather than simply running and jumping across platforms, you must actively time your bounces to clear obstacles. On PC, the game uses the arrow keys for movement and the Spacebar for jumping; the mobile version features touch-based controls.

The levels may contain hazards such as spikes, fire, bodies of water, and patrolling robots.To fail, simply jump at the wrong time, so check ahead of time before you jump. Some items can even alter the properties of the ball; it can bounce more, gravity can affect it differently, or time can stand still. Using these at the right moment can help you navigate sections that might otherwise seem impossible.

Basket and Ball Shootout Challenges

Every few levels, Basket And Ball may shift into a shootout challenge. Instead of controlling the ball as it moves across the court, you must determine the angle and power of your shot to land the ball in the hoop. These levels also feature three stars; get them into the hoop to collect them, and securing all three will instantly win you the challenge. Otherwise, you simply need to score enough points within a set number of attempts to clear the level.
